Obama's visit to Connecitcut

I would like to write about President Obama's visit to Connecticut to today, I was raised that if you could not say any thing positive not to say anything at all, that goes for writing also.

The end of the beginning

Then end of the beginning,..what? isn't that backwards? maybe not. We have reached that point in time when the anti gun and 2nd amendment haters have finished their beginning phase of "Sensible" gun laws and are making their final dash at grabbing all our guns and declaring the 2nd amendment out of date.
They have worked this plan with great patience and a long game view. through the years they have push the anti gun agenda when ever there was an event that could be exploited. They have waited until many varied pressure points aligned in their favor. That time arrived with a President more concerned about vacationing and bowing to other countries, and not above using a tragedy for political gain, a biased news media, along with the internet to  totally out shout logic and reason.
The news media has been hounding and promoting this event and people with out any balanced reporting of both sides, and the President is more than happy to get face time, and push his anti 2nd amendment hope and change!
We have reached a tipping point that will have far reaching affects. We  can not allow ourselves to be pushed into being unarmed by a government out of touch and control(why else has DHS stock piled so much },The media touts this agenda and ignores the high unemployment rates, expect government jobs which is at about 3%, and the fact that many people are not counted because they have used all their benefits
Hear that violin? Can Nero be far off? We must stop this "fiddling" around and stop our great country's side! Make our government state and federal listen to we the people! Look at how your representatives voted, if they voted to keep you sliding down that slippery slope, then vote them out! Vote for who ever runs against them, whether they are your party or not!

Needs of the few over the needs of the many? or gun control bullies ?

It has been about 4 months since the tragedy at Newton, about 120 days, and already many new and restrictive laws have been passed. This rush to pass laws seems to be a well orchestrated and pushed by  a few people along with the help of national media. There seems to be a very well organised and financed system behind this blitz of media coverage! We the people are being denied our rights by this small out spoken group. When else has an event been used and kept in news to so quickly pass legislation to control the general populace  These laws have been pushed through so quickly that there has been no unbiased research or input from we the people! Our legislators have bent to the will of this small group because of peer pressure or maybe some promise of return favors.
These any restrictions on our constitutional rights should be considered with logic and reason and the voice of all the people should be heard! The media has deliberately avoided gun rights people and edited what they have said to support this small cabal to slowly erode our rights! We will see how they react when the 1st amendment starts to be attacked, but at that point it could be to late. Not possible? most people get their "news" from the internet ,very few read newspapers. The government now has the power to shut down the internet when ever the decide it is "necessary".
Then what? Right now they have ability to read all of your emails ,texts twitter and listen to your voice mail and cell phones! Your wireless provider stores all you communications and make them available to the government  Can you say Big Brother?.
One of the main checks and balances to this is our 2nd amendment rights! With out these we can offer no resistance to an out of control government. DHS is already stock piling equipment and ammo for use within the US. Why?
Like a snow ball rolling down a slope, it gets bigger, faster and harder to stop. We must be that mighty tree on the slope to stop that snow ball and turn if back into benign snow flakes .
Yes I ramble,... but there is so much wrong in this latest attack on our freedoms that I jump topics because as I write more things occur to me and I go off in another direction. Don not let my switching gears distract you from the importance of the whole subject, We need to stand up and make our voice heard just as loud as that small group!
Jump!
North Korea is in all the head lines, they are ranting and making threats that we should take seriously! But.... don't let the government and media start something with them as a distraction to what is going on at home!
More on that next.

Time to leave CT

Well, gov. Dan is one step closer to bankrupting this great state! This latest erosion of our constitutional rights will cause business to accept better offers from  states that are not tiring to put them out of business. When they go, they will take people with them, not only their employees but it will also effect all their subcontractors. When they move, and they will find suppliers and subcontractors that are close to them instead of having parts shipped. Dan is also forcing people who believe in the 2nd amendment to start looking for states that stand up for our rights! If you can leave Connecticut  go! don't look back! Can't leave just yet? Now is the time to start looking and maybe buy that retirement place and start spending your money in a state that appreciates you.
I urge all Connecticut residents to vote out anybody that voted for this useless bill! Republican or Democrat, if they voted for it they need to go! We need people who use common sense and don't rush through laws in a knee jerk reaction to appease a small group of people. We need people that can take the tough stance and look at the whole picture and make unbiased decisions that will actually solve a problem not just pass a feel good useless law.
They keep saying this new restriction on our rights is what most people want, that they are just looking out for us, if this is what the majority of the state wants, why not put it out for a vote? Could it be that they really don't want to hear what we the people have to say?
DHS has a massed unimaginable amounts of ammo, light tanks, and portable bullet proof check points, for use against who? U.S. citizens? Why? Still not sure about all this? When they take enough of the 2nd Amazement can the 1st be far behind.
It is said that history repeats itself, does any of what is happening parallel history any where?

CT gun rights restrictions

Once again Dan Malloy is sending CT straight  to hell! This new 2nd amendment restrictions will do nothing but punish law abiding gun owners and further erode our rights. Legally obtained guns are not the problem,  we have enough laws now, we just need to enforce them and enforce the penalties not plead away gun violations.
Restrictions on  mag capacity will not solve any imagined gun issues  Laws on mental health capacity would make a much bigger difference.
We have laws against racism, we are taught no to judge people because of the way they look or what the wear, so we should be prejudiced against certain guns just because of the way they look?
This is all just a knee jerk reaction to tragedy  it is just an other excuse for the government to erode more of our unconstitutional rights. DHS has purchased over 1 BILLION rounds of ammo, bought light armored vehicles for use in the U.S.A. , bought bullet proof vests, and bullet proof check points and at the same time has  slowly disarmed the law abiding citizen, WHY?
Police departments have all switch to semi auto hand guns with high capacity mags because they "were out gunned" by criminals, what about us law abiding citizens? Police are NOT here to protect you! They only show up after the fact! You are the only one there to protect yourself and loved ones, aren't you entitled to the same chance as they are against and armed intruder? Why do police department need 30 round mags for their assault weapons? How many innocent people have been hurt by police firing way to many rounds and not hitting the intended target?
We all need to remember the people who vote to restrict our constitutional rights and vote for who ever runs against them in the next election whether republican or democrat.
Our elected officials think they know what is better for us than us, or they would put things like this out to vote of the people! ( either way they will still be entitled to their personal protection)

Gun control? How about personal responsibility!

Ok, I have waited over a month to see how the knee-jerk reactions would pan out. As I thought, all the blame was on the inanimate guns, not the person who pulled the trigger. This person was apparently an intelligent individual and well versed in computers and the Internet, as  seen by his foresight to  effectively destroy his computer so that the even the government cannot trace his on line activity.
Gun control programs worked as needed, proved by the fact that he was denied when he tried to purchase guns before the attack. Now, here we have an intelligent, Internet savvy person intent on causing harm, he has been stopped from legally obtaining firearms, what does he do next? If he had not been able to steal his mother’s guns would this have ended his plans? He was determined individual who planned things in advance and would have found some other way, the fact that he covered his online tracks we will never know if there was a backup plan that could have been worse.

Oklahoma City was the worse attack in America (until 9-11) and no guns were involved, yet we can still buy fertilizer!

Instead of punishing legal gun owners lets restrict the mentally impaired people who miss use them! Let’s test all school students for potential problems and all those that need some help or drugs, and then publish their names and addresses so that we all know where the potential problems live.

Yes, I know, gun owners have a responsibility to properly store and control access to our guns, and by the same standard parents have a responsibility to protect us from their unstable children. Oh, wait my child is not that person; he/she is just going through a phase, no what? I will move him/her to a different school just do not label him/her!  There are too many parents who do not get the help their child needs because they are afraid of what people will think of them as parents.
Instead of having doctors ask us about our legal firearms let’s ask teachers about the kids in their classrooms. Teachers spend more "up close" time children and see their interactions with others than most parents; therefore teachers should be the first ones to point out needs. These needs should noted and referred to professional help, parents should have to follow up on these and provide proof that doctor/professional has seen the child.

A lot of people say the second amendment is out dated and referred to weapons at that time and has no bearing on today’s firearms, well the first amendment was written in a time of a few newspapers, does that mean it does not apply to television and the internet? Because without the second it could happen!
